How Much Travelling Will I Do ?

The opportunity to travel with The Light Dragoons is enormous. Over recent years there have been Light Dragoons based in England, Germany, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Canada, and Sierra Leone. There have also been exercises in Cyprus, Egypt and Jordan.

In 2006, the Regimental Cricket Team went on a tour to India and in 2008, the Rugby Team will tour to South Africa and the Ski Team will compete in Switzerland. In addition to operational deployments, the Regiment has deployed to Canada in 2001 and conducted winter warfare training in Norway in 2002.
