C Sqn deploy to Afghanistan - Oct 06

C Sqn deployed to Afghanistan on the 18 Oct 06 alongside the Royal Marines (3 Commando Brigade). The capabilities that a full armoured reconnaissance squadron bring were greatly appreciated by the Royal Marines during the build up training which started in february 06.
Shortly after arrival and a small period of acclimatisation, training resumed with the squadron conducting both vehicle mounted and dismounted range firing periods.
There is always time however, to enjoy a nice cold, ice cold drink. The packaging might be different but the product is the same. More updates and photos will follow as their tour progresses.
